easyauto123 is thrilled to announce our new partnership with The Reconnect Project, a charity focused on refurbishing old laptops, tablets, and mobile phones to help vulnerable Australians reconnect with the digital world.

In Australia, millions of mobile devices lie unused in drawers, often forgotten. The Reconnect Project seeks to change this by giving these devices a second life. By refurbishing them and securely wiping all data, the charity not only provides technology to those in need but also helps tackle the growing problem of electronic waste.

Access to technology is essential in today’s society, particularly for individuals relying on digital tools to connect with family, friends, and essential services. The Reconnect Project initiative aligns with our commitment to community engagement and social responsibility, and we are excited to support this important cause.

At the heart of The Reconnect Project is founder and CEO Annette Brodie (holding award in photo above), who has dedicated her career to repurposing technology and advocating for a more sustainable approach to e-waste. Annette shared the powerful story of a young woman in Western Sydney who, with the support of a caseworker, received a laptop from The Reconnect Project. The device allowed her to continue her studies and access essential resources, playing a crucial role in helping her move forward from a difficult personal situation and achieve greater independence. Stories such as this highlight how technology can be a powerful tool for positive change, offering individuals the opportunity to rebuild their lives and create a brighter future.

How easyauto123 are helping

To kick off our collaboration, we have encouraged the easyauto123 team to dig through old storage spaces and gather any unused laptops, tablets, and phones. No device is too old or broken; everything can contribute to this worthy cause. By sending these devices to The Reconnect Project, we are not just decluttering; we are actively participating in a solution that transforms lives and strengthens our community.

Our commitment to this partnership will continue as we work alongside The Reconnect Project to ensure a steady flow of technology to those in need. We believe in the power of connection and are proud to support a cause that embodies this principle.
